This year, 2008, we have purchased twenty Trojan T-105 batteries for use at our location.
Eight of the batteries were used to replace a battery bank that was 1-1/2 years old.
The Burkhardt charge controller which I installed in 1986 went haywire and ruined the
batteries.
The cost of a Tri-Metric 2020 along with the appropriate shunt is less than the
cost of two quality 6 volt deep cycle batteries.
I have three Tri-Metrics mounted over my desk and can keep tabs on three of our
battery systems.
After having sold many Tri-Metrics over the years I should have been smart enough
to do this sooner.
Apparently I wasn't.
