11 DC Screw-in Compact Fluorescent Ballasts & Tubes
These low voltage dc compact fluorescent lights
are very popular for alternative energy systems,
in back-up lighting, industrial, marine / boating
applications and are gaining popularity for use in
cabin / fishing huts as well as updating marine
applications.
Light It Technologies / Montana Light makes the
highest quality and most reliable compact fluorescent
light ballasts.
All of these ballasts have Radio Frequenty Interference
suppressed circuitry.
Everything priced on this page is in stock
We ship Monday through Saturday.
![]() The center of the screw base is Positive and these are protected
against damage in case they are connected backwards.
The color of the front may be different than that shown.
12 & 24 volt d.c. screw-in compact fluorescent ballasts by Light It Technologies of
Montana.
These high quality electronic ballasts allow you to use conventional
SE (single tube), TE (triple tube) or DE (dual tube) fluorescent tubes in a
regular screw-in light fixture and operate them from 12 or 24 volt d.c.
Extremely energy efficient and rated at up to 50,000 hour life span
on the ballast.
These ballasts can handle different wattages of tubes (within their
power output rating) but only use the appropriate amount of power
for the tube that is being used.
You can see by the picture above the difference between the two
types of ballasts.
We offer the ballasts and tubes separately so you can choose the
combination that fits your needs.
Will operate down to -30 degrees F.
Made in the United States.
Dimensions for both ballasts:
diameter: 2", body length: 2-5/16", overall length: 3-1/4"

Compact fluorescent tubes:
Color Temperatures:
27 K = warm light similar to conventional tungsten light bulbs.
41 K = cool white, less color than the 27K and the most popular
color temperature
65 K = most closely approximates sunlight with almost a faint tinge
of blue, a good choice where the most perceivable amount
of light is needed, very popular with folks who raise poultry
and for outdoor lighting - we do not recommend the 65K for
a bare bulb application at eye level
Tube Shapes:
SE = A single "U" shaped tube - the base is flat with four pins in line.
DE = Two "U" shaped tubes - the base has a rectangular extension
with four pins around it.
TE = Three "U" shaped tubes - the base has a rectangular
extension with four pins around it.
Tube Applications:
The TE tube is shorter than a DE tube of the same wattage.
This helps in areas where you need the most amount of light
output in a small space.
The DE tubes produce slightly more light output than TE tubes of the
same wattage.
Please notice the in-line pins and flat base.13 watt (900 lumen) SE fluorescent tubes (color rated at 41K which is cool - white).
The cooler color light has a higher perceived light output than the warm
tubes.
This tube has a 4 pin 2GX7 base.
Currently we have 12 in stock.
PRICE:
( SE - TUBE ) $ 7.00 each
The following Add To Cart button offers several shipping options
