PowerMax model PMTS - 30 Automatic Transfer Switch

30 amp - 120 VAC- 3rd. Generation

The PMTS-30 automatic transfer switch automatically

switches from shore power to a secondary power source

when the secondary power source, a generator or inverter,

powers up.

The normal default state of the PMTS-30 allows shore power to

pass through to the circuit breaker or fuse box/distribution panel

of your vehicle.

When the time-delay board sees the second, or auxillary, power

source it breaks shore power (the power cord) and allows the

secondary power to pass through.

This isolates the two power sources.

The time-delay board is set at the factory for a 20 to 30 second transfer

delay once it sees the secondary power source come on-line.

This allows the generator to settle in to its operating speed and reduces the

possibility of generator produced voltage spikes coming through to your

power distribution panel.

Please note that on this model, the time-delay can be by-passed using

the switch shown on the time-delay board.

Wiring is simple and the housing has fifteen knock-outs.

You wire this unit the same as the discontinued IOTA Engineering

model ITS-30R.

The molded enclosure is app. 9-5/16" wide by 8-7/8" tall

PowerMax mod. PMTS-50 Fourth Generation automatic

transfer switch.

The PMTS-50 Fourth Generation automatic transfer switch

automatically switches from shore power to a secondary power

source when the secondary power source, a generator or inverter,

powers up.

The normal default state of the PMTS-50 allows shore power to

pass through to the circuit breaker or fuse box/distribution panel

of your vehicle.

source it waits twenty to thirty seconcx, then breaks shore power

(the power cord) and allows the secondary power to pass through.

This isolates the two power sources.

As you will see in the pictures, this unit has two 50 amp coils.

The IDP 12 Distribution Panel provides a central DC electrical distribution

for a 12 volt DC system.

Features include 24 fuse positions (outputs) with an LED on each circuit which

lights up to indicate when a fuse is blown on that circuit.

The IDP - 12 requires no internal wiring ,see photo of back.

The dual screw lugs are for positive power input connections and

accept up to 6 gauge wire.

The outputs are 1/4" female spade terminals - and require a 1/4" male

spade terminal (not included) which are available at most auto parts stores.

Accepts ATO or ATC automotive blade-type fuses or manually resettable

blade-type circuit breakers - fuses are NOT included.

Both the breakers and fuses are available at auto-parts stores.

These are only available in a black housing.

IOTA has discontinued these and they are limited to stock on hand.

Solar Converters Universal Generator Starter

Solar Converters model GS - 1 AC Universal Generator Starter:

This Generator / Genset starter monitors the battery voltage and when

the battery voltage gets to its low setpoint, the unit starts the generator.

When the battery gets to its high setpoint, the unit stops the generator.

The generator may be remotely started and stopped by dry contact

closures or by its local toggle switch start / stop commands.

The setpoints may be temperature compensated with an optional remote

temperature sensor which we stock.

These are designed for starting AC generators which power a battery charger.

Many remote alternative energy powered telecommunications site use the

GS - 1AC.

The unit monitors the battery voltage and when the solar and / or wind

input falls short of maintaining the battery state of charge the GS-1AC

starts the generator and runs it until the battery bank comes up to

full charge and then shuts down the generator.

They are made in an open frame type which can be mounted in your

equipment or in an electrical enclosure as well as one that includes a

NEMA 3R weathertite enclosure.
