Morningstar SureSine true sine wave d.c. to a.c. inverter.
The Morningstar SI-300-115V sine-wave inverter has a 12 volt d.c. input and is rated
at 300 watts continuous and 600 watts surge at a standard 115 volt a.c. output.
For greater reliability this inverter does not have a cooling fan (which also consumes
power.)
Instead, it relies on the cooling fins on the housing and its own mass for heat dissipation.
The true sine-wave output allows it to operate any loads within its power rating.
An ideal choice for off-grid alternative energy, recreational vehicle, emergency, portable
and stand-by power use.
If the wattage requirements of your heating furnace are within the rating of the
SureSine, it makes a nice setup when combined with a sealed battery(s) and
battery charger for times when the power is out but you have natural gas or
propane available to your heater.
The high efficiency allows you to get the most out of your battery system and
longer run times.
Wiring these up is easy.
Low power consumption.
There are two connections so you can connect your own remote a.c. output on/off switch.
